Team Dynamics
Team Dynamics

Have you ever been frustrated or confused by the lack of energy, commitment or accomplishment in a project team? Have you secretly hoped that someone would provide targeted leadership that would direct your team to great things? The fact of the matter is that most team members and many team leaders know little about the dynamics of effective groups. This includes setting a climate of enthusiasm and knowing how to get the best input from peers and staff. It also includes dealing with interpersonal issues that can erode the work of a team... such as: hidden agendas, members who have to always be right, dominating team members or people who withdraw from group meetings.

This 1-day workshop is targeted for members of project teams or work groups. It is a condensed version of our very popular Team Facilitation Skills workshop. Through group simulation activities, it will demonstrate the magic of team synergy, when both team members and team leaders are clicking on all cylinders. Characteristics of effective and ineffective teams will be discussed, along with strategies for improving effectiveness as a team member. The appropriate roles of team leader, team member and other stakeholders will also be discussed.
