Risk Assessment and the Evaluation of Accounting Controls
The Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 is the most significant audit and corporate governance reform since the 1930s. With its stringent reporting and internal control requirements, the Act has far-reaching implications for the roles and responsibilities of today's auditors and substantial penalties for organizations in non-compliance. Our program, entitled Risk Assessment and the Evaluation of Internal Controls, delivers practical approaches to addressing Section 404 of the Act: Management Assessment Of Internal Controls. In addition, we offer programs which stress audit and EDP audit skills, statistical sampling, audit report writing, audit supervision and the audit of computer systems under development.
